Frankoma Collector, new to collecting.

I bought this book primarily to check on values of Frankoma pieces. This was my first collectibles guide book, so I should have researched it more prior to buying. I understand that it would be difficult to cover many collectibles all in one book, but the listing for Frankoma (as well as other makers) are so limited. That is probably why it was so inexpensive. Otherwise...it is somewhat difficult to navigate around to find what you're looking for, even tho' there is an index. The index doesn't list pieces under 'Frankoma', or 'Hull', they are listed as 'ceramics, pottery', or 'kitchen wares'. Once you find the pottery section under ceramics, you then have to thumb through alphabetically to find 'Frankoma' and there it is with limited information, only the rarest of pieces, with very few pictures. Most of the book is text only. I thought I might find more Frankoma under kitchen wares, but no. In fact the entire kitchen ware section is scattered with just a very few items of each kind. Mostly the rarest of things. I found a few salt and pepper shakers, scattered among the kitchen wares, but not in any specific order or group. It is quite complicated, especially to someone new to using a collectibles guide. It seems the book attempts to cover too many different categories and makers, so that it is not possible to include enough information about each. I have to say, I would not recommend buying this book, unless it happens to include information you don't already have in another guide. Because you'll have to have another one to cover more items. Thanks.
