Antique Purses by Richard Holiner (1986, Paperback, Revised)

I've been collecting antique steel mesh purses for 37 years. I was 16 years old and wandering through an antique/junk shop when I saw my first purse and absolutely feel in love with them. They are so delicate, fragile, feminine and remind me of a more romantic time! I actually carried my favorite one on my wedding day along with my bouquet. These purses have always been hard to find, and when I saw one recently on ebay that was in absolutely pristine condition, I splurged and bypassing the auction, went ahead and bought it then even though it was expensive. I was afraid I might be outbid at the last minute and lose it. The tourquoise and pink colors are vivid and unusual and the art deco design is lovely. It is by far the nicest one in my collection, and appears as if it just came out of the box. I love logging on to ebay and surfing for more purses. I can't buy them all, but do occasionally bid on one. They cost alot more now then when I first started collecting them.
