Antique Fishing Reels by Steven K. Vernon (1985, Hardcover)

My copy was a present as the donor knew that i have designed several reels.

The only criticism I have is that the author has not written a book covering patents granted since 1920.

Being pennikity in the extreme, some of the reproduced line drawings are too small to read easily. But for all of that there is no other single source available for the information therein.

I would most like to see a book produced containing all of the patents granted until say, 1980/1990. but on Fly reels alone!!
