After looking through this profusely illustrated book (just wrecked cars-no blood and gore) however, you get a glimpse into the past- a simpler, slower paced America, before government mandated safety regulations, super highways and urban sprawl. The only thing that detracted from the book are repetative and somewhat silly commentary at the bottom of each page. This book will appeal to antique car and American culture enthusiasts.
