Anthology * by Razzy Bailey (CD, Mar-2005, Renaissance Records USA)

I bought this cd because I had a Razzy Bailey LP years ago. I liked his voice and the songs were very good. When I ran across this CD this had Razzy Bailey's Greatest Hits on it.
This CD is wonderful! Almost all the songs on this CD I remembered from long ago and some I had forgotten about. There were some songs on this CD that I hadn't realized he sang, which was a plus. If you like Country Music and Razzy Bailey try and pick this up. You'll be glad you did!

My son is 28 years old; and when he was a baby, we use to ride with our sun roof back listening and singing to Razzy Bailey. Well, he just recently got married, and I looked high and low for a Razzy Bailey CD and could not find one. This was prior to my becoming an ebayer! I wanted to give him this for a wedding present; however, I could not find it. Now I have and have given it to him for his first wedding anniversary so that now he and his wife can lisen and sing to it. He loves it! It is absolutely the best! Thank you so very much for helping me keep the memories alive and moving into the next generation.

razzy bailey takes you back when country was country . he is in a long list of greats that you wont hear on today s radio. his music gets you up and kicking . also this package has great liner notes that informs you of his history in music .

Just as I remember Razzy. I lived in Macon GA and went religiously to Nashville South which was his club in the 70's and early 80's and this makes all the memories come back. I even remember where I sat each time he played a new release to us. It is a shame his career did not go better than it did. I can play his songs and then someone who told me they never heard him says "I remember that song". That comes to show that songs stick with you even when you forget who does them. I never will forget him though.
