I grew up listening to Dusty Springfield, but never gave her a second thought. I re discovered her music in 1999, the year that she died. Now, I must have everything that she has ever recorded. I love the journey that she takes me through each time she sings. I love her name, her life story and the beautiful designs she creates with her songs. She is magic to me, she can sing every type of music,Ballads, R&B, and she is so underrated as an artist. I hope they do a movie of her life story,so others may discover her tragic history, and how she learned to cope through her music. I am desperate to learn more of this beautiful artist. Dusty was the first woman musician to produce many of her own songs, and never received credit. This anthology takes you from beginning to the end with a wonderful range of her abilities. I recommend these recordings to whomever wishes to follow the career of a truly gifted artist. Dusty Springfield , my dream songstress. She was named the White Lady of Soul and it is so true.
