Lucas "Peanut" is bullied on and takes out his frustrations on a colony of ants. The ant "Wizard" is fed up and decides to shrink Lucas to their size.

I thought it was very funny. My daughters were glued to the tube. The ants are a bit more realistic than Antz or a Bugs Life. Very well done.

My Kids love this movie and have watched it about 20 times since we bought it. I rented it first and the kids wanted me to keep it. I found a great deal online so I decided to buy it for them as a Valentine's gift. This has to be one of their favorite movies!! GREAT JOB!!

Movie was well made. We initially rented it, and a week later bought it because our two year old, and the adults, loved it. Would highly recommend!!!

Lucas Nickle (voiced by Zach Tyler) is a young boy fed up with bullies and his smothering parents. Taking his aggression out on the bugs in his front yard, Lucas thinks nothing of carelessly kicking down the ant hills. Zoc (Nicholas Cage) is an ant wizard questing to find a potion to stop the human "destroyers" from killing his colony. When Zoc drops an elixir in Lucas's ear one night, the boy is shrunk down to ant size and forced to confront life from a whole new perspective. Handed over into the loving care of Hova (Julia Roberts), Lucas learns to live like an ant and tries to help save the colony before an evil exterminator (Paul Giamatti) comes to make his deadly appointment.
Here's something I haven't felt from a CG animated film so far this summer: pure delight. "Ant Bully" supplies this sensation over and over again, somehow lining up all the important elements to create one of the best examples of the genre I've seen in recent history.

Adapted from the book by John Nickel, "Ant Bully" is first and foremost a lesson for kids on the importance of teamwork and appreciating those willing to help you. Similar films (like this summer's "Cars") would drown trying to sell the moral, but "Bully," under the radiant direction of John Davis ("Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius"), is more concerned about the possibilities for bite-size adventure the story holds.

Davis keeps the picture moving briskly, trusting the audience to understand the characters and their troubles, forgoing the typical shove-down-the-throat storytelling policy of other animated features. Save for one scene where Zoc openly wonders why humans don't work with each other to solve problems, "Bully" is blessedly fat-free of draggy lectures and melodrama, electing to let the expressive animation convey most of the internal struggles.

As with most CG films, the voicework makes the whole production. Also appearing in the film are Lily Tomlin, Meryl Streep, Regina King, and the man himself, Bruce Campbell, as a macho, but easily spooked scout ant. The most surprising cast member has to be Nicholas Cage, who always seemed like the last actor around to do a film like this. Cage is a fireworks display here, reminiscent of the acting choices of his youth, when his exuberance and playfulness made for some thrilling performances. His lively spirit carries "Bully" well, even if he's knocked out of the plot midway through. It's good to see the old Cage come out to play again, especially in a film as generously entertaining and easy to swallow as this.

This is an awesome movie and a lot of fun to watch. It's a lot like 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids' with a twist. There are also a lot of cute short films that let you enjoy the characters a little bit longer.

Excellent for 10 -12 year olds. My 10 year old son loved it. Not really a whole family movie, my 15 year old was bored with it as was I.

i bought this movie for my son and to amass a bigger collection for him. his older brother watched it years ago and he liked it alot.

Excellent family night movie..Grab a couple pizzas cold soda's turn off the phones lock all the doors and spend the whole night with the family.. great movie you wont have to worry about any foul language or anything questionable.

A cute movie for little kids. I love the animation. It has a good story line and lesson learned. Teaches kids how to treat others. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Great animation and wonderful cast of voices from great actors/actresses. Story has good message for young and old alike. How kids deal with bullies and how the insects lives interacted with the main character and his problems. Good storyline and animation with some beautiful artwork and music. Very much enjoyed by whole family.

I saw this movie in the theater and knew it was a movie I would like to have in my personal collection. Thus when it became available to purchase on ebay I bought it. There is humor in the movie but also some "real life lessons" that can be learned from this movie. The animation is fanatastic-you forget that it is not real. An excellent movie for every age group.

I loved the movie. About everone kills ants. I bet kids everywhere have tried to save the ants.I liked the great colors in the movie, the voices were done right. There was comedy and excitement and suspence. I would recommend buying this movie to anyone. I have watched it several times. My son and his friends loved it.

Everyone out there should purchase this movie. It is great for the young and young at heart. Graphics-excellent. Storyline-excellent. My kids and I have watched this and the others over and over again, and never get bored. It teaches us important lessons and values while making us laugh out loud. A couple of my favorites, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Cameron Diaz, Mike Myers. 1 was good excellent. Two was better and Three knocked it out the park!
