There are lots of pictures and that is a big plus.
Trying to find a particular piece of jewelry is hard. I wish it was alphabetized by type of item (locket, hair comb) and then sub-category by era (Victorian, 50s).
I bought it because I have another book by the same author which gave general information, this has a lot more photos and more detailed information about eras, but again hard to use.
