Ansco Coca-Cola Button 35mm Film Camera

The Ansco Cocal-Cola 35mm camera is definitely a neat addition to my collection. As for being a working model I am afraid it is not. It came preloaded with film, new in the bubble wrap. The battery was on the brink of extinction (after all it had been sitting in the camera since about 1996), so I loaded a fresh battery and began testing the camera. The flash seemed to power up, but refused to flash. After about 5 quick pictures the shutter quit working. So, now I have a cute camera to sit on the shelf and draw admiring glances. My guess is that Ansco used the cheapest possible materials and after so long a time even a camera that has never been used will just quit. It really is too bad because I would have liked to have used this camera.
