I decided to buy this dvd for my husband as a Christmas gift becuase he is a huge Social Distortion fan and pretty much wants to be Mike Ness. It was interesting to see Mike at such a young age.. before he became a giant in the punk scene.

The last time I watched this was in the mid to late 80's and I remember it as if it was just the other day. One of the greatest documentaries I have ever seen. Great music, commentary, drama, and memories! The DVD adds commentary from Mike Ness, and a separate commentary from Youth Brigade.
This movie will never fully explain the punk scene in the 80's, but for someone who has never experienced it...it's a great way to get a glimpse of how it really was! Two thumbs up!
