Carol Burnett steals the show as a drunk and abusive Ms. Hannigan. Growing up, this was my first exposure to her talents, and she remains one of my favorite comic actresses to this day.

The original 'Annie' is the best. My child sings and dances all day, with Annie and the rest of the cast. Carol Burnett should of received an Oscar for her part of 'Miss Hannigan' and Albert Finney makes the movie as 'Daddy Warbucks'. Even as a parent, I love all the music and never get tired of hearing the songs. Great movie. If you have a young daughter, get this one for her, she'll love it.

Excellent movie! The music is uplifting and great to dance to. The cast is outstanding with an excellent performance by Aileen Quinn(Annie). It's a timeless classic that can be enjoyed by everyone.

I bought this DVD for my daughter's 5th bdy who recently saw the movie on tv and fell in love with it. She absolutely loves the movie and the songs. It's a great movie that I don't mind watching with her. It brings back a lot of memories. Great casting and characters. I recommend this item to anyone.

I like the fact that it is in DVD form and not VHS. I decided to buy it because my daughters are 7 and 2 and I want them to be able to enjoy the movie as I did as a child. So far they love it!

Carol Burnett is great in this movie.

This movie was the first movie I saw in a theater. I saw it with my mom. Was the best place to find this version of the movie. It was easy to buy and the seller was easy to deal with.

Loved the singing, music and actors. Good movie to enjoy with our family for now and future. Makes family night wonderful to have a good G rated movie.

It is a classic! You will be singing all the songs in your head days after you watch it. I could not wait to introduce to my girls the movie Annie. A must have for your DVD collection.

Awesome movie to watch with grandchildren. Our 4 your old grandson is singing all the songs from the movie. No big scary monsters in the movie to scare little ones.

Love it...brings back memories of the early 80's. My child now loves Annie and is hooked on the music that I used to love to sing when I was young. The anniversary edition is cool - has some neat extras!!

Classic movie musical. Fun for the whole family (especially the females!). As a mom it is so much fun sharing a favorite from my childhood with my beautiful daughters. Singing the songs and watching them sing and dance around to one of my favorite flicks from the 80's. The color is restored in this anniversary addition. Bonus footage in the title menu. SUCH a blast!

Just like I remember seeing it on TV as a kid. Great show. Strong Story line. I usually do not like musicals, but there is just something too cute about this movie and the characters in it. Little Red Head Annie is just full of he character and singing spirit in this show. Life is not so kind to this little girl, but she makes the best of it.

I grew up watching Anne. It was a house hold favorite. When i seened on ebay i knew I had to buy it, not only for myself , but for my family as well. When i shoed the movie to my nieces the absolutly loved it.

I decided to buy the DVD online because I found it hard to find in the stores. The DVD is very good quality. It is the whole movie and not just a sample of the movie.
I bought it because my granddaughter, 19 months today loved it when it was on cable. When they took it off and she could no longer see it, she cried and asked for Annie. I'm a grandmother...

This is a classic movie with a great story. If you haven't seen this yet, you should. A great addition to any DVD collection.
