Annie by Original Soundtrack (CD, Jul-1987, Columbia USA)

When my daughter was 7 years old, I purchased the orignial VCR tape for her through "Santa." She would watch this movie so much over the years, I always worried that she would wear out the tape. She enjoyed this tape so much with the characters, and the singing, she would sing along with it. She always would watch this movie several times through out the year, and always during the holidays. Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve. New Years. My daughter now 18, recently prior to Thanksgiving was looking for her tape. She was at a loss and searching so for the tape. She was so upset she couldn't find it, and I was going nuts trying to track it down for her. I even went to video stores and could not find the original tape from this time, only the newer ones. I was able to find it on ebay, thank you, and was able to surprise her with the one she always loved to watch. As you can only imagine this Christmas after all packages opened and enjoyed, this tape was taken to her room first, door closed, and within minutes we once again heard her singing the songs she loves so much and watching the movie which gives her so much pleasure.

The original cast members and the singing performers are the best. The sequels don't always have the same characters, nor the same plots.

If you have not seen the original you should, as an adult I enjoy it as well and all of the characters whom now are either passed on in life or older. Great movie, not any complaints can I find with it.
