Annie Oakley TV Collection (DVD, 2003, 2-Disc Set)

I like this version of Annie Oakley DVDs, because unlike other versions out there, these have apparently been transferred from high quality 16mm syndicated prints. If you are a collector of vintage 50s TV shows and want great picture and sound quality, these prints will make a nice addition to your collection. THey only thing I don't like is that it would have been nicew to see them with the original network opens and commercials, as they were first seen. However, they do contain the original syndicated opens and closes, with original music. They do blow up nicely on the big 42" LCD, with very few digital blocking artifiacts, as the level of compression is high quality. In other words, these are not the usual bootlegs out there. Nice to enjoy!
