Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel (VHS)

I love Anne of Green Gables and part 2 (The Sequel) adds to the movie. The movie brings the viewers with the cast as the cast grows , matures and ages. It is a excellent family movie that shows how life was or could have been other than were you might live. My family is all boys but my extended family has girls and they love Anne of Green Gables (part 1 2 and 3) The Sequel is a "must have" in all video libraries.

I have loved this movie ever since I first saw it when I was young. I like the fact that the whole series was filmed using all the same actors. If you liked the first film, you'll love the second one!

I appreciate that all of the Green Gables movies I've seen have been family oriented. This is a movie that you can sit and watch with your children. I think it started off a little slower than the first movie but eventually picked up and ended up being just as good as the first movie. As with the first one it leaves you wanting to journey farther into the life of Anne. I will probably end up purchasing the final tape in the series. Sequels rarely live up to expectations but this one did.

Anne of Green Gables represents the height of what is right about western civilization. Every library should contain something about this character - Anne Shirley and her world. I want to be able to lend this to my friends so extra copies in any format are worthwhile to enjoy and to share with others who may enjoy something that is totally decent.

The orignal is fantastic. I have seen it at least a dozen times and look forward to seeing this one. I think there are 3 total with this one being the last. Not sure what the second one is if there is a second.

I bought this for my daughter. We all love the Anne of Green Gables series. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys the old days.

Sorry, but as an avid Anne fan, I was very disappointed that the Sequel didn't follow the actual story line Ms.Montgomery wrote! The movie itself is pretty good, but shouldn't be called a sequel!
