Also it has many more deleted scenes making of movie etc. Really worth tyhe cost!

Not just for girls! This series of films is full of such spunk, imagination, scenery, and comedy that it is a hit with everyone I know! It is the tale of an orphan girl and her struggles, spirit and wit. A delightful film for the whole family. Truly a gem.

I bought this for my wife, and found it delightful myself. The main character, Anne with an ''E'', has a spirit to match my Dachshund. She is an orphan, but she speaks her mind, sometimes when it's not good for her to do so. Sparks fly when she arrive to her new family, that is expecting a boy. The scenery is beautiful, and the story draws you in. This set comes in 5 CD's that are well packaged. We got it on a Friday, and had watched the entire collection the same weekend. I highly recommend this collection, it is refreshing and very professionally done, do yourself a favor, and buy this exceptional movie!

This movie is an old classic. My wife loves to watch old movies like this where she can relate somewhat to the characters. The main character (Anne) in this movie is not afraid to tell what is on her mind thus allowing the viewer to understand what she is thinking. She is an eccentric romantic who is also hard headed. Thus she plays hard to get, while all the same getting people to love her.
Again, my wife loves to watch these old style movies, and your's might as well. Most girls do.

I love Anne of Green Gables, both books and he movies. I recommend people to read the books first, so you can have much more details. I've only seen the first movie so far, because I'm reading book number 6. The first movie is very much like the first boos, with a few changes in some details. It is really lovelly for people of all ages!

My daughteer is the fan of "Anne of Green Gables" and was deighted with her gift. She did say that the extra disc was not worth bothering with (on the 5-CD package).

This is an all time classic. I grew up watching this series on vhs. I remember being sick and staying home from school, and watching this all day. I was so excited to see it out on dvd in a 5 disc collection!!! The seller of this is great! Easy using paypal and was shipped sooooooo fast:) Plus for the price how can you go wrong? If you are an Anne fan i recommend this collection to you. If yo haven't become a fan yet.....get this and you will. The bonus disc was so amazing!

This was a gift for my wife. She absolutely loves it. The product came in very good condition. My wife was excited to get the entire series, but was especially excited to get the bonus pack.

I have been a fan of these movies since I was a teenager. I have seen them a hundred times or more over the years and have always wanted to own them. I bought this collection because of all the extra's. After buying them I shared them with my 6 year old neice and she actually was quoting the movie to her older teenage sisters. She only watched it once and it was already quote worthy to her. I have a feeling she will grow up loving them just as much as I do. This story is a timeless classic. It is also great for any age. I highly recommend this to anyone who will watch it.
