Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel (DVD, 2003)

Need to see the first movie first. Touching story. All girls and mothers should watch, together preferably.

I LOVE THE ANNE OF GREEN GABLES/AVONLEA SERIES FOR THE QUALITY OF THE STORY,THE PRODUCTION,AND THE AUTHENTICITY OF COSTUME AND LOCATION. I AM INSPIRED EACH TIME I WATCH IT. I HAVE RECIEVED THE ANNE OF GREEN GABLES SEQUEL DVD BUT HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE THE FIRST ANNE OF GREEN GABLES. I PAID FOR IT MONTHS AGO AND STILL WANT IT.

Excellent family movie... that you will watch over and over....you are entertained throughout the movie.......this is a better investment than buying a movie you will not watch only once.

I first watched the whole series of Anne of Green Gable on the Disney Channel when I was a kid and it has remained a great favorite of mine. This sequel is based on the beloved books written by Lucy Maud Montgomery and continues the story of Anne, an outspoken orphan who has grown into a young, promising teacher at a women's college. She is faced with the new challenge of winning over the highly opinionated and judgemental families of the girls she teaches. Anne also meets the dashing and sophisticated widowed father of one of her students and finds herself being swept off her feet. As her world changes and her childhood friends grow up, we follow Anne on her journey of self-discovery and the realization of a deep, true love.This is an universal story which viewers of all ages can enjoy and find beautiful lessons in. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a movie with a real story and something positive to say.

I love this movie because it is so heart felt and gives you those good feelings after you watch it. I wanted all my kids and grandkids to enjoy this movie for years to come, so I bought it. This is a sequel to the "Anne of Green Gables," which a girl can't miss seeing.

I saw this when I was young and have loved it ever since. It really takes you back to that time, and you get to share the wonderful experiences along with Anne.

I really didn't get what I wanted, but it will be good to have -The Sequel - I really want the whole story of Anne. UI will find it and get it. It is a great story that almost every would enjoy.

I received my movies in just a few days which worked out great b/c they were gifts for my mom's birthday.

Anne of Green Gables - the Sequel picks up where the original Anne of Green Gables movie ends. The characters are lovable and believable. It is great to see the same actors return for the sequel. The story is realistic. The scenery and costume are wonderful. The movie has something for everyone. We spent several enjoyable evenings watching it and will rewatch it. The movie is well worth watching.

Well when I was little I used to watch this movie with my mom, of course I didn't understand the meaning of the movie until I was older. It still holds memories of my past with it and I was happy to find the movie and was very happy when it came in the mail!!

Here's another series of Anne of Green Gables. A remarkable story; a great production! This is for anyone who likes the greatness of the human spirit.

I first watched this movie some 14 years ago at a friends home in Africa, and have always been searching for it. I wanted to have it for my home DVD collections. I've searched in all the local DVD stores where I've lived here in the U.S.A. and couldn't find it. It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I thought about eBAY. I've been using eBAY for some time now but had completely forgotten that I could possibly find this move on eBAY. When I finally got the "light-bulb momment", I quickly signed on to eBAY and lo and behold, there it was, with all other series of other movies I'd like to have. I immediately order it with most of the others.

I really like this movie because it is reality, and I would like my children to have the opportunity to watch it and enjoy it as I do whenver I watch it.

A timeless classic that speaks to your heart on so many levels, wheather you 8 or 80! Girls you will laugh and cry, great chick flic... sensitive guys will like it too!

really loved the movie. takes you back to days gone by. i bought the movie because i had seen it when i was younger and decided i wanted to own it for my kids to see someday.

Such an excellent film. One of the best! I loved everything about it. the characters are wonderful. I wore out the VHS that I had so I got the DVDs.

This is a must see for everyone especially young people. It is the BEST movie I have ever seen and have purchased it for my grandchildren and they as well as their parents LOVE it and the sequel. This is a classic and a GREAT ONE.

I loved the condition of it. It was what I expected, but I didn't receive the movie on time. It was a couple of weeks late.
