Anne of Avonlea (DVD, 2006, 2 Disc Box Set)

This story goes through many adventures with Anne, including her teaching and college studies, also her adventures trying to raise two young children with Marilla. The story line was good, but very different than the "Anne of Green Gables" series, perhaps it's more like the books storyline. It's set up like a TV series with a very limited budget (and it shows). The actors and actresses are not as strong characters as in the "Anne of Green Gables" series. I kept comparing it to how much better the original movie was. I enjoyed it but wouldn't watch it over and over like I do with the original movie series.

I was pleased with the response I got after waiting almost a month for my DVD. I contacted the seller and he offered to send me a new DVD at no charge. I received the DVD the next day in the mail so that became unnecessary. The shipping here in alaska is really slow but I didn't realize it was that slow.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loved it! It was a great buy. It was something she had wanted last year for Christmas but I had already purchased other things last year. This year she told me that I could buy it online from ebay and it would be shipped right to me at my house. It was very easy and the price was great too. I wish I had thought of it myself. It made for a very nice gift. I would recomend ebay shopping for your future shopping needs.
