The Anna Nicole Show - The First Season (DVD, 2003, 3-DVD Set)

Over the years, Anna Nicole Smith seemed to share in her fair share of "bad publicity." I really never cared anything for her and even (dare I admit it out loud) thought of her as "white trash."

Well, after watching this AMAZINGLY ADDICTIVE show, I quickly realized that I am a bad, bad, person to be sucked into all the hype of the media. I learned for myself that Anna has a heart of gold and the entertainment value she brings to her viewers and fans is priceless. She may not always be totally coherent, but she does anything for those she loves and I had a lot of fun enjoying her antics and sharing in her life.

Season One introduces the people closest to Anna at that time: Kim Walthers, her assistant for 2 years who has this cool purple hair and is at Anna's constant beck & call. She is one of Anna's best friends and confidants. Daniel, Anna's teenaged son (who is sadly now deceased) is shown briefly in a few episodes. He is the utter love of Anna's life, her baby and everything she strives for. Howard is Anna's attorney-turned-best friend. I often wondered if they were more then just friends but believe in this season that there is no hanky panky going on between them. He is always with Anna and is very protective of her and has her best interests at heart. SugarPie is Anna's dog who LOVES to have sex with stuffed animals. Too funny! Then there is Bobby Trendy who is an interior designer (& boldly flies the gay freak flag!) who is an accident waiting to happen. I just want to STRANGLE him in most episodes that he appears in.

Even if you are not a fan of Anna Nicole Smith, by watching her show you will find that it really does suck you in! After the season ends you find yourself wanting more! MORE! MORE! But you cannot have any more because there is no Season 2 and Anna is now dead. I LIKED IT, I LIKED IT, I LIKED IT!!!!! So you should WATCH IT! WATCH IT! WATCH IT!

I love Anna and she is GREAT in this show It brings to mind the funny things Lucille Ball used to do on her show Anna Nicole smith is lovely and I can't wait to watch them again. Anna will live for ever in our hearts and we can watch her and remember the kind soul and Love of all of our life we have lost a great soul. So lets remember her with love and laughter not sadness. We love you Anna!! I loved watching the show every week,

NOW THAT SHE IS GONE, WHEN I WATCH, IT SEEMS EVEN BETTER.

I like having this dvd especially now that she is gone. Good entertainment. A view of a life cut short.

I bought this DVD shortly after the death of Anna Nicole. When the DVD arrived I couldn't stop watching! This DVD collection is truly America's guiltiest pleasure! It is full of nonstop comedy fun. This collection is uncensored and it truly means uncensored. Needless to say I was surprised when I saw the Las Vegas scenes!! You get a glimpse into the life of Anna Nicole Smith. It shows us the viewers her outrages lifestyle and her larger than life personality. You also get to see the vulnerable side of Anna Nicole. One scene in particular is when Anna rushes home to watch her interview with Jay Leno on his show.
I enjoyed watching 'The Anna Nicole Show'. It is nonstop entertainment!!

I was a bit skeptical about this show, but my wife loved it when it aired on the E channel, so I got it for her. I was quite please though when I watched it.. Anna Nicole is very funny and the show was a blast to just watch… Don’t watch it for drama, just for the comedy of error… like a train wreck, you have to look and keep watching…

I would recommend this to people who need a good laugh, plus since her death, it is a good remembrance of how she lived.

I know that some people didn't really like anna, but Im sure most celebrities act the same as she does.. we just don't get to see it until they are gone :(. I love these shows, they are so funny.. You will laugh for hours after watching them! I promise you will want to watch them again and again! Sometimes I wonder if she was just acting or being serious with some of the things she said! I think someday this will be a true collectors item!

Loved this show. This three disc set has all the moments I loved and remember and even some I forgot from the TV show. Anna was so funny. The case is holographic and fun. If you liked the show you will love this dvd set.

What i loved most about this dvd collection is that its a raw and uncut look into Anna Nicole's life. We are a very lucky to have these moments of her she was a sweet caring loving women she will be missed. R.I.P. Anna Nicole Smith

I wanted this DVD to add to my collection. Since her recent death I wanted to see what she was all about. The Dvd is funny and shows her in ways I never would have thought of.

Anna Nicole was one of a kind and she will be missed. This video of her program shows how vibrant and alive she was, it is also very funny. I wish the sean was longer and there were more of these videos.
I reccommend this video for anyone that loved Anna Nicole or just loves to laugh. The recording on to video was very clean and without commercials I will buy more of her videos when and if they come out.
I promise you will enjoy these programs on video very much and on a day you feel gloomy these will cheer you up.

What's there not to like or love about Anna Nicole in life & death. She was rather intriging. There was noting to dislike and decided to buy it as I use to watch the show when it first came on and I collect DVD's and wanted to add it to my collection.
She was a very ineteresting person and if you you watch this show you will learn alot about her..Yes she has may have been a little off the wall but WHAT GREAT ENTERTAINMENT! Try it out, you will enjoy it

The dvd was in excellent condition and played well. I appreciated getting it so quickly in light of her death. Everything was in good condition.

I LOVE ANNA NICOLE. SHE IS SO FUNNY AND OUTRAGEOUS, BUT YOU COULD TELL THAT SHE WAS REALLY SWEET AND SAD AND NEEDED SOMEONE TO LOVE. TO SEE HER AND HER SON AND SUGAR PIE ON THIS SHOW KNOWING WHAT HAPPENED LATER, IS JUST SO SAD TO WATCH.

I like Anna Nicole Smith and i think she is hysterical, I always wanted to buy it and then when she passed away that just gave me more reason to buy it. I think the dvd is good and it shows her personality, a side that most people didnt see. She is a sweet, genuine person i believe. The dvd set is funny, and if you are contemplating whether to buy it i think you should.

I watched the reality show back when it aired and always felt bad that Anna Nicole seemed to always be using some sort of drug and didn't have a strong support around her. She needed help and never got it, it's very sad....( just wanted to own it.)

I got this DVD because I tend to collect items that will be collector items later on. She was silly, funny, crazy, & wild in the show. She loved the camera, loved the attention... I'm from Texas as well, & one time she & the show made me so mad as she acted so stupidly that I wrote her a letter to her asking her not to act so ignorant as it was an embarrassment to intelligent Texas women everywhere! But as everyone knows up until her death, she laughed all the way to the bank! Enough said!
