Raw Uncooking.

i just received and i will say after reading through it, it looks pretty good. some of the recipes here i have in another raw foods cookbook but this is an expanded version. the one draw back is it tends to be very preachy. i have loads of cookbooks and i like learning about people and some of their thougths, however some of this can be a bit irritating. it really should be called My Raw Foods Philosophy w/ Some Recipes by Ani Phyo. the one thing she as others do not take fully into account is that organic is expensive. it's is great to tell someone to go buy a vitamix blender, an excalibur dehydrator, but in this economy where do you find the money for it? this book seems to be geared towards the beginner but misses the mark a bit. Raw Foods For 1 or 2 People is a better book for the beginner along with her dvd. i will say i am looking foward to adding more recipes from this book to my repertoire. the recipes are pretty easy and fast as are most raw food uncooking but again, for those who do not like being preached to you may opt for another book.
