Animusic: A Computer Animation Video Album (DVD, 2004, Special Edition)

If you have never had a chance to see this, it is a must see! The first time I saw it I couldnt pull my eyes away. It is crazy how real these animations look. The way they move and go to the music its so great to watch. There are 7 different animations on here plus a ton of special features. The animation would be great to watch by itself but they pair it up with some great music and makes the preformance wonderful. Special features include a sneak peak into the second DVD they have. Must see! Great for all ages!

Animusic uses computer animation to animate various instruments in different animated video clips. The Animations are spectacular and the music is good too. My favorite clips were "Stick Figures", "Pipe Dream" and "Harmonic Voltage"

Some might not enjoy this very much, as it is pure animation, no "human" component present. To them this might seem no more than eye candy. If you like to actually see the live performers in a concert than this is not for you. But if you are interested in seeing some good computer animation this dvd can be a feast for your eyes and ears.

I love watching and listening to the robotic instruments play. Not as long as a standard CD or musical DVD but understand all of the work that went into this made it well worth it to me.

Very smart, my family and I enjoyed the music and we laughed and cheered at the actions of the whole selection of different and unbelievable sights and sounds.
You almost can't believe that its not real! We will order no 2 DVD, well worth the money!

VERY NEAT DVD. IT HAD TO TAKE THOUSANDS OF HOURS TO PRODUCE, I HAD SEEN IT ON MY LOCAL PBS CHANNEL (KUHT IN HOUSTON,TX). I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT IN MY COLLECTION.

I saw this computer animated music on a PBS special and immediately went to ebay to purchase my own DVD. It's so fantastic that I bought several for Christmas presents and my entire family loved it. Even my 4 year old nephew was intrigued with the performances and music.
The music is so physically and graphically represented that I am sure even the deaf would enjoy it. It's a must see production!

We struck out on two attempts to perchase 3 copies of this video. The first attempt, after some time, we were told they had a mistake in their warehouse and they would not be available for some time. We went to a second attempt and just yesterday were told they were damaged by the Post Office. In short, I am quite dismayed about the eBay route. I have no videos, and my g-kids are missing out.

This is fascinating to watch. The creativity for it is awesome. I have a 2 year old nephew who absolutely loves music and I bought this for him and his 1 year old sister to watch, who set mesmerized through the whole thing. It's fun to watch their eyes try to keep up with all the movement. They are so locked in on what's going on!

This animated music video is outstanding. If you like something different to amuse and wonder how they did this, you will be very happy. It's great entertainment.

They said they were out of stock, but I noticed at the same time they had other identical listings. I think it was just a scam to get people to sign up for their "special offering" on shipping.

I'm a teacher who sometimes runs into ten minutes of transitions time. My sixth graders love this DVD. The music numbers run about 6 minutes long. Amazing art and music. This is a DVD you'll enjoy too.

This animated music dvd is quite captivating.I have seen the sequel to this and it is better, but this one is worth having. The kids even like it and don't try to tell me it's "boring". Very enjoyable. Thanks

After Purchasing Animusic 2 and being thoroughly impressed, I had to see it's predecessor. I was not disappointed. I especial liked the early works of Mr. Lytle with the flying drums. This is truly an amazing blend of computer animation and music. Something that every age group will love. My 2 year old is completely absorbed with it and wants to see it over and over. It is way better than sponge bob square pants!!!

I saw this on my local PBS TV channel and thought it was the neat and new way to showcase music. I enjoyed all the songs and when I saw it being offered on Ebay: I wanted to get one and I enjoy watching and listening to it.

I was turned onto Animusic on PBS where I had my breath taken away. Both Animusic 1 and 2 are well worth the asking price. Just buy both of them at once as you will anyway after seeing just one video. My kids love them as do my wife and I. The attention to detail is amazing and it helps kids understand what makes things work and how, while having tons of fun. It's a no wonder teachers around the world are also using this in classes.
It's interesting both from the music, which is fantastic and there is something for everyone, but even from a mechanics point of view. I see no reason why almost all of these instruments could not be made. It just takes the imagination of people like this to design them! End note, don't take my word for it,..Just buy them!

I never knew that something as entertaining as this existed. My Uncle brought the DVD that he purchased from OPB, and I knew that I had to have it. My Children and my Grandchildren have been glued to this DVD. You would be amazed and entertained if you choose to purchase this. I knew that I had to have it part of my DVD collection.

A super DVD. Full of interesting animation, many computer generated musical instruments. Fast and intricate. Great dynamics too. Everything looks 3D, 4D, 5D...like it's popping out of the screen. A+.
