Movie Description
This collection of animated shorts features two adaptations from the renowned Japanese authors Mishima Yukio and Higuchi Ichiyo. The first, based on Yukio's THE SOUND OF WAVES, finds a poor fisherman who is in love with a woman far above his social status brave a violent storm to prove his worth to her father. Ichiyo's GROWING UP is a tale about two childhood friends growing apart when one of them joins a gang.
