Since then he has made a name for himself as one of the greatest living virtuosos, continuing in the tradition of Andre Segovia and becoming a much sought-after performer; whether as a recitalist or a soloist, he continually astounds audiences with his technique in the esteemed venues of London, Berlin, Chicago, Munich, Madrid, and Los Angeles. This DVD lays claim to being one of Romero's very few recorded live performances, taking place in 1981 in Pasadena, California. It showcases this extraordinary talent flawlessly, clearly demonstrating why Romero has remained on the vanguard of Spanish guitar music over the span of his 40-year career
