Angel - Season 5 (DVD, 2005, 6-Disc Set; Sensormatic)

This is both my favorite and least favorite of the seasons on ANGEL.

I bought it separately because I knew and LOVED that Spike was 'back' and making sure everyone knows it. He gave it that much needed class and twisted humor that Angel never quite mastered. The interplay between the them as the 'two vampires with a soul', trying to figure out which is REALLY 'The Champion', not just 'A' champion, was great.

Yet a lot of the episodes have lost a bit of their otherworldliness and they felt a bit too much like the everyday evil we already face, where the good guys can and do lose... (And I could watch the news for that.)

However, they did manage to sneak in a few of the old 'cute' type episodes, especially when Harmony finally got one almost all to herself. It could have been waaay to 'campy' but it actually worked well. Too bad that character finally nailed it as the series went the way of a staked vamp.

And the episode with Cordelia (#100) is a must see.

Even with all the extra darkness of a show that was counting down to cancellation, though, at the end (at least of the series), there still was a glimmer of hope for a few of the characters (and possibly an opening for at least a spin-off movie or two?? Oh, please, oh please!)

If your a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Fan this is the Season of Angel you can't Miss!! Lots of Spike! We watched the whole Season of Angel and this Season was our most favorite! Has lots of connections with the Last Season of Buffy. Although if you are a Buffy Fan it is worth having the entire Seasons of Angel to fill in the Blanks that Buffy leaves you with...

After watching all other four seasons of the thrilling TV series Angel, I just had to buy the last one as well. Believe me I was not disappointed! The story escalates into the final battle of good vs evil. It was a great way to end the series and I think that the fans were able to see that. The cast did a great job and the story was exciting as ever. The only sad part is that we won't get to see them again. I recommend it without hesitation.

After sending 31 dollars to the dude I get nothing back. I check his reviews and contact three other unhappy buyers of items. Indeed all three of them had similar experiences and yet he continues to sell under the same name. Last time I buy on ebay. The stores aren't that much more for new items and I don't have the waiting time or the insecurity about receiving the items. Bob

I had all the other seasons and had been searching for the final season and am so happy I finally have it! It was a heck of a series when it was on t.v. and was just sick when they cancelled it. Seller was great too with a reasonable price!

I LOVE this series of Angel. The dvds work awesome! The show is full of suprise and action. Also the big time humor spike brought to the show. 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

First of all, I just want to say that this season has probably THE BEST COVER design for Angel. The past years' DVD cover of Angel all made Angel look soooo ugly and not like him, especially season four's, Angel look so ugly on the cover. But season five's Angel actually brings out Angel (and DB)'s beauty, his beautiful, intense eyes, his intelligence, his struggle, his broodiness, and his sadness.

The final season was so much better then the 4th - even if things did not wrap up the way I would have liked.

Angel is one of my all time favorite shows and I already had the first three seasons and had just purchased season 4 on ebay so all that was left was to buy season 5(the final season). I decided to purchase through ebay because t.v show seasons can be real expensive at the store and on ebay you can get them at a decent price. I have no dislikes about purchasing through ebay, I have never had a problem here. Also the dvd's always work great..

We are fans of the "Angel" and "Buffy" TV series. This was one of the better Angel seasons. The character, Spike, was enjoyable, as always.

Just sorry the show had to end, but gee, they can't go on forever. These Vamps were starting to show their age...lol

Great show, great acting, a wonderful cult classic. Something everyone should see.

The last season for the show. I thought was good, bringing Spike on the show made it more funny. Didn't like how they changed Fred killing her. I specially didnt like how they ended the show. Wish this series was still on. Buy this dvd.

There were some parts at the beginning on certain discs that seemed to be blurred or running to fast...but i found everything satisfactory! Never was that interested in Angel but Spike's a favorite character so the season was worth buying for him. :D

I bought Angel season 5 the finnish my collection but I am sad that it is over... *tear*

All in all its no Buffy but it is a good watch

I loved this season and found it on ebay at a a very good price. It was in BRAND NEW CONDITON and I actually got my DVDS very fast. I spent the next few days watching the whole thing:) This was my very favorite season and I would recommend it to anyone especially the PUPPET EPISODE :)

The last in a great Series. It is a sequal to Buffy, another great series. These are fun Vampire shows which are not too violent and have a great sense of humor. I would love more shows like this

the final season of the hit series is very intriging love the story , anoyed that they ended it but all good shows end, hope they make the movie bought it because of the price to goood to pass up.

Here I am sad to say is where the end is comeing to fast for me. Love htis Season and looking forward to Season 6.
