Angel - Season 1 (DVD, 6-Disc Set)

The season that started it all. The first season of Angel is great. We see familiar faces such as Cordilla. Full of action and plot twists, Angel season one lives up to all of the hype. Not mention, David Boreanaz is such eye candy, who could resist watching it over and over again.

I saw a couple of the shows on TV,however I work early so I could only watch one of two shows. After a week I was hooked and relized it was a continuing show, not just a 30 min sitcom. After recieving the season 1 set, I now have to get the rest, and BUFFY because this is where Angel came from. I work 50+ hours a week so this is a nice release and I can watch at my leisure. This isn't a bloody show I would recomend this to anyone that just wanted a little escape.

Brand new and in great condition. I love the Angel and Buffy the Vampire series and would eventually like to get the whole series for both shows.

i love the angel series i never really got into buffy i watched angel when it made its first dispute on t.v loved it ever since i wish they had not cut it off after the 5th season .

Great set of DVD's. Angel wasn't repeated like Buffy, so even the ones I've seen are like new to me. It is great to be able to watch a series you love rather than the lack of TV with the writers strike.

Angel is the spin-off to popular cult television show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. While it at times suffers from the same monster-of-the-week syndrome that occaisionally plagued Buffy, the characters are strong enough to overlook the sometimes repetitive theme of weekly deadly peril.

Whedon's mix of action, humor, and pure style wins out again. The series is darker than its precursor, which some more traditional male fans may find refreshing.

Also: The dancing scene in episode 13 (She) is unforgettable. If you don't laugh, you're probably not human.

i really like the beginning of any series becuase you can get all the background on all your fave players. I really love the whole angel series.

I like that it was a quick buy, not to mention quick delivery. The item arrived in excellent condition and I couldn't be happier.

My son loves the show and he bought it so that he could could watch the whole season when he wanted to and own the original copy and not rent it from netflix like I would have done. {LOL}

Angel Dave Boreales is an excellant actor! The tv versions sometimes edit at the wrong time for time constraints. This series has love, hate, fighting, and good morals! Highly recommended viewing. Lots of action and plot twists.
