Inside Andy Warhol

This book brings you right into Andy Warhol's daily life activities with a rarely seen before insight on his intricate network of acquaintances and relationships. Aside from very mundane descriptions such as the cost of taxi rides, it contains the Pope of Pop's thoughts on a variety of topics. These archives were mostly gathered from Warhol's telephone messages to his Pat Hackett, his secretary who compiled the diary during a period of more than 16 years. The only disappointing aspect of this book is that it doesn't contain an index. Given the numerous names and topics the diary contains, it means that you have to read the entire book to find information on a specific topic, person or encounter. Paul Marechal.
