I bought this set to finish my son's collection. We swap movies sometimes and he already had the first 7 seasons. Andy Griffith is always goooooooooooddddd!!!

Sheer fantasy that makes me wish my life could be like Sheriff Andy Taylor.
The lady who played teacher Helen Crump (Sheriff Taylor's girlfriend) in this
set died in 1995 of cancer at the age of 62. Her real name was Aneta L. Corsaut.
For those interested parties she is buried in the Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery at 10621 Victory Boulevard in North Hollywood, California, USA. Lot 3, Section 6518, Block G.

I have always wanted the complete series of the Andy Griffith show, as I remember them when I was growing up as a child. I like Don Knotts and love his goof offs. The whole series reminds me of what it was like when I was a kid, growing up in a small rural town. Nice to be able to always watch the entire series and remember my childhood. Now all I need to do is buy the rest of the seasons..

The complete and final season didn't end the way that you hoped it would, but is still filled with many exciting and captivating episodes. They are not bootleg or Asia imports but are the real deal. I've bought many DVD's on E-Bay and usually get them in cheap little sleeves. Not the case from this seller. Andy Griffith Final SeasonI started the collection of Andy Griffith Shows for my husband. It is his favorite show of all times!!! He only have 4 seasons but we will have all 8 seasons. You can watch them over and over and never get tired of Andy, Barney and the rest of the gang!! Clean Family show which is very unusual nowdays!!

The Andy Griffith Show is one of the most all time popular television shows ever and is still shown today, everyday , on Channels like TV Land, 40 years after it's final season.
It is humorous, yet still delivered a moral lesson. Lessons that are still relevant in todays times.
Great television that did not want or need foul language, special effects or sex to be a great show. The show ran for 7 years and 1968 was the final season.
This DVD set is that final season and when the show ended it's run, it was like saying goodbye to an old and dear friend.
There is nothing to dislike about this DVD. Buy it and revisit that old friend once more, or get aquainted with it for the first time. You wont regret it.
