Anatomy & Physiology by Kenneth Saladin (2009, Hardcover)

I bought this textbook because I was required to have it for my college A&P course. It is not an introductory course, so I was worried the book wouldn't do a good job at explaining the basics. I was proved wrong the first chapter! It contains beautiful, easy to read diagrams of anatomy. I loved the way he puts a drawing of a body part next to the actual part, so you can get clear image of the borders of parts (drawing) but then find the parts without the use of unrealistic color differences (on the actual part). Saladin even gives a recommendation on the best way to approach this book and your course. His tips and recommendations are spot-on. I have confidence these learning techniques of his will get me through this course with not only a passing grade, but a grade I can be proud of!
The study guide and lab manual are great companion books to the textbook.
Con=The book is very pricey, but if you are serious about your career and education, it is well worth the money!

Tho the book is similar to what I needed for class. This title is misleading. I received an International Softcover version not the Hardcover. When deciding to purchase school books be sure you are 100% certain it it the correct version you are requesting.

This is the book for my Anatomy and Physiology class, in my nursing program! i recommend it! the chapters are broken down in a way that helps with the learning process. Plus the online extras are very very useful. i use them with every chapter!

I received the book in a timely manner. The seller had a new book - international edition listed for a good price. The book probably cost much less in other parts of the world. But it's cheaper in the context of North Americas. That's what matters to me.

I was alarmed that the book I received did not match the ISBN number that I needed, especially since the heading on this product description describes the book as the hardcover. In addition, the price was not that much better than some of the true hardcovers that are sold on eBay so buying an international edition to save money is not that great of an argument- in fact, I found a hardcover book for a cheaper price. Although the cover of the book I received has in red bold letters "this international student edition is not to be sold or purchased in north america and contains content that is different from its north american version," I was assured by the seller that the content is identical. Thus far, the book has worked out for me and I have not found any differences between versions (but I am only up to the 5th chapter). The main reasons I am giving the seller a below average rating is because this book came up when I typed in the ISBN I needed (although the true ISBN doesn't match) and because the heading for the sale item states that it is the hardcover book (which it is not). Other than that, the seller was prompt in responding to my questions and also shipped the book very quickly.

I decide to buy it because I am a College Student and I need the book for my class. The book I receive was not the book describe. The advertizing was fraudulent and have the wrong picture and wrong ISBN on Ebay.They sent me a International Edition (soft Cover) The content of a International Edition is different, I contact the dealer and sent the book back( wich cost me $20.00 ) then they reimburse me a part of the amount I paid and keep the balance for "reestocking" ??. It was false advertizing and I don't understand why suck people I allow to sell on Ebay. In all I lost my time, money that I don't have as a student.

the book was new and only costed $60 compared to the bookstores $150.The book arrived on time only two days after i orderd it so that was really nice.

I love the international version. It might not have the stiff binding like the US version (which might be how it got ripped/torn a little bit, which is how it was when i took it out of the packaging) but the book is a great price and so much easier to handle. It fits on your desk well, mixes in with binders and notebooks very well, too. For it being a word-for-word match up with the US version, and the price was so much better, I might buy the international version from now on!

Purchasing this book was WAY cheaper than what I would of paid for at the school! I can deal with fair prices and communicate with the sellers/buyers to make transactions easier.

As for the item itself, well thanks for the book! It's information is what I need for me school class.

So, what else am I suppose to say, trying to find 1,000 words for a review is very hard and almost impossible. I still have 300 to go! Yeah right!
