The Anatomy of a Lawsuit
Well it was required reading for the summer before I entered my 1L in Law School. It is a very descriptive in understanding the law. This book focused primarily on a civil lawsuit and the civil procedures that are taken in initiating a civil lawsuit, including but not limited to jurisdiction, formalities of legal documents, and most importantly rules of procedure. In addition it purports to put your mind into the analytical thinking that is important to master the legalistic thought process of being a lawyer. I enjoyed reading the case and following the book was not difficult. I like it, let's hope it's a good buffer for my introductory week in law school.
