I bought this DVD because it contains a great interview with Dr. Timothy Leary but found the movie hilarious and with message LOL. The Zappas didn't inherit Frank's talent but his sense of humour and good vibes. I do recommend it.
Warning: The interview and the Anarchy TV are not related I was expecting to have Timothy Leary and the Zappas together in the movie but is like a non-related added value LOL

) I sought out the movie for Jessica Hecht's role. [She played the lesbian love of Ross' ex-wife on the TV show "Friends," which is where I first noticed her] Stills from "Anarchy TV" showed her at a news desk and performing aerobics in the buff. She looked good. Very good. Ms. Hecht naked is, all by herself, worth the DVD.
I became more interested in the movie as I read about the movie's cast. Alan Thicke gives an outstanding performance as the Religious Leader With A Secret To Be Exposed. and Mink Stole [of "Pink Flamingoes"]appears, too! The plot is fun, the acting is good, and one of the only things missing is more screen time of Jessica Hecht in the nude.
I became more interested in the movie as I read about the movie's cast.
