A Great Tool To Begin Learning Congas

This is a great tutorial DVD. The basic sounds produced by the conga are demonstrated as well as different techniques in getting the sounds. Wilson "Chembo" Corniel shows you many different rhythms and many different things to work on slowly and progress on as you learn to play the congas. I highly recommend this video as well as LP's DVD entitled "Close-Up On Congas" featuring Richie Gajate-Garcia.

Was somewhat displeased with video due to less conga instruction and more equipment setup for specific brand of congas that I didn't even have. overall opinion was average.

I guess the description did explain that it was an introduction, you wont learn much from it, it is more like a video that should be included with you LP congas, not worth what I paid, but the richie "gajate" series from LP, those ones would be real instructional videos.
