Editorial Reviews
Former "Partridge Family" ne'er-do-well Danny Bonaduce stars in "America's Deadliest Home Video," a laughably amateurish action video that somehow remains watchable despite itself. A home video nut (Bonaduce) hits the road after catching his wife with another man. While taping the world's worst travelogue, he inadvertently films a band of low-rent crooks ditching a stolen getaway car. They kidnap him and, seeing themselves as modern-day Bonnies and Clyde, force him to videotape their indifferently bloody crime spree. Shot with a hand-held camcorder, this "film" features bad sound quality, a ludicrous script and woeful acting, yet as an entertaining indictment of the "Cops" phenomenon, it's destined to become a classic.
