A lot of the recipes may look familiar to you, but you will be reading the best of the best tested, so no fear in failure! There are side notes on how the recipes were tested and most important, each person who's entry was selected tells in their own words the history behind their recipe. I was surprised about the variety of recipes--some things that I had forgotton about altogether! A really good source for people who really like to cook.
