An American Werewolf in London (DVD, 2001, Subtitled Spanish)

Absolutely an all time classic. They just don't make films like this anymore!
The special affects are amazing. I make sure i set aside time to watch this flick every Halloween! A must see for horror movie fanatics!

Great horror flick from my childhood.A Halloween must have for generations to come.Bloody but not to graphic.Perfect for preteen and up!It was great to revisit and I am glad to have it part of my home collection.

A cult classic. One of my favorites. Had a recorded vhs copy years ago and I wanted to "upgrade". DVD version has many additional features that weren't previously available. Highly suggest this movie to those who appreciate classic horror movies.

Landis' AAWIL is an absolute classic. It's got a great mix of horror and laughs, making it an incredibly entertaining flick. Great writing, directing, acting and excellent FX work by Rick Baker. Baker's FX work is stunning, especially the famous transformation scene. I highly reccommend it for every horror fan.

Can't wait to watch it again,was a entertaining movie...a cult classic.

I forgot how much I loved this movie!Funny and scary a MUST have.It has been years since I watched it and now I`m hooked all again!I like the fact that it makes you jump and laugh back to back.The friend(after the attack) is GROSS but of course you love it when he`s around!!A++++movie!!!

I love this movie. All except the scene in the forest when we see that horrible face with those yellow eyes. I'm 57 and I cannot look at that scene.
First time I saw this film I was 30 and that scene gave me nightmares so I've never watched it since.
Other than that the film is more than watchable.
It is exciting, horror-filled. Scary. Funny. Sexy.
Jack (Griffin Dunne) is hilarious.
The transformation from man to werewolf is cinematic history-making.
It's simply a very entertaining and funny movie.

Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the time it came out the effects were good although do not touch today's standards.The story line ? What story line ? The only thing this was good is to watch the effects at the time it came out.Now they don't hold to today's standards which pretty well renders the movie useless in my book. If you feel you have to have it get American Werewolf in Paris it is much better.

i would have loved to be positive about this purchase, and i don't know where the mistake was....but i never recieved this movie. i was told it was sent, i had a tracking number and the post office on my end said they tried to deliver it. i never recieved a attempt notice, or a notice for re-delivery. so i went to the post office with the tracking number for 5 mdays in a row and no one could find it. i'd like the seller to contact me if the item was returned, so they would mail it out to me again. i hate to waste money on another purchase if i don't have to. but i still will shop, and sometimes things happen....and i don't hold grudges. the seller can reach me at midnightgreen83@yahoo.com i'd be willing to pay the re-shipping if they would be willing to resend this movie to me. i'd really want to have it in my collection.

Scary funny movie, not too gory...but not recommended for children. Loved the movie for its humor, especially the Griffin Dunne charactor. And you get to see parts of the real east Proctor. I decided to buy it because I saw it years ago at the theater/moviehouse. I laughed just as hard today as when I first saw it.
Do not let very young children..under 15 or 16 to watch it...or maybe todays world this is bloody or scary at all. I would not let young children see it just the same.

"An American Werewolf in London" is one of the best horror films of all time. Written and Fantastically Directed by John Landis. I found out while watching the special features on this Collector's Edition that the script was written in 1967. Just to think it took over 20 years to get it to the screen was amazing. I recently read they are in the process of making a remake. I personally don't think it should be remade at all... You don't mess with a MASTERPIECE!

This was an older movie we had seen on TV and wanted to buy. Of course we turned to ebay to find it and it was way cheaper then if we would have bought it at any retailer. We highly recommend this movie.

The special effects of this movie is the greatest!! It has become a classic horror movie one you truly need in your collection if a true horror fan like I am. There's humor,horror and all around great movie. When he 1st changes into a werewolf the special effects are like no other ever has been. Give this movie a shot if your horror fan you won't be disappointed.

I had been looking for this movie for a long time. It is a true classic. I was so please to find it. The movie arrived in excellent condition and quality. I was very pleased with the service and the professionalism.

I like this particular werewolfs movie becouse the history moves you to difrent places London is a full nice view places the forest full on fog by nigths wow mades you feel the cold wheather if you enjoy see the movie at all....In particular I saw this movie when I was little and the efects on the transformation looks very real.... You have to see the back escene to understand the excelent creation of a make up.

the history is little funy and is arround two tipical american kids looking for travel and adventure...only the contemporany people who saw the cinema version can see the difrence on DVD series anyway still been a Great movie...!!

Bought it for a friend who loved the movie and could not find a copy of it anywhere. i myself am not into these types of movies.

Well i loved the movie the first time i saw it and it has always been one of my favorite movies, i didn't own it yet, it was too expensive in stores or i couldn't find it and this was a good price.

Purchased this movie for getting an autograph from the director and star at a future convention/show. Movie is ok, but the story was a bit weak.

I love horror movies, especially ones about werewolves. This was one of the first horror movies with great special effects. It had the longest transformation from man to werewolf of its time. Great special effects.

Totally thought this was a review for the seller at first, guess I should learn how to read eh? well don't let my lack of attention fool you, this movie is by far one of the greatest horror flicks of all time. Nothing better then sittin back with a couple of buddies, your girl mary jane, and watchin this movie. Thats all I have to say, enjoy!

i love this film!! it's a classic, very well made and cutting edge for the time, it's not only a great werewolf film it has many other layers- political, cultural and satiracal as well, this film never fails to entertain regardless of the countless times i have watched it, it's a must have addition for any collector that appreciates a well told horror story with a somewhat comical undertone and groundbreaking (for the time) special effects.
