Great dvd's for those who wish to know more about the War of Independance. This set clears the air for those who are interested. As a history buff, I consider it to be an important tool to widen my knowledge.

Complete showing hard life of the times very well.Porttrays characters and their conflicts like real people and not romantizcizing their tough and sometimes arduous decsionmaking.

) I can heartily recommend this DVD set, indeed, I've always been delighted with anything I've viewed that was produced by The History Channel. My wife and I have personally visited many of the battlefields shown in this program and by watching the details of the program it gives you a real feel for the pain, suffering, and inevitable triumph of the men who forged our nation. I highly recommend this program if you are into our nation's history and the men who made it.
