American Legendary Rail Journeys (DVD, 2002, 3-Disc Set)

This DVD is an excellent addition to anyones library. It give a historical review showing the evolution of the rail industry along with the development and growth of America. Commentary is excellent. I purchased the DVD for my son who loves trains. He sits and watches the video over and over and I feel good because it educates as well as entertains. Better than just watching cartoons. It can be used as an educational tool to teach the logistics of rail movement and the development of the US in its early progress as a growing nation. It is hard to believe where the United states would be without our rail system. It was and is still a viable method of transport for moving goods across America.
