The American Girls Short Stories, Set 2 (2000, Hardcover)

I bought a set of American Girl books. They arrived in absolutely excellent condition. They also arrived quickly and well packaged.

The books and box are in excellent condition. I bought this for my Grandaughter. She is a real Americal Girl collector and I love playing with her.

These books give a child a chance to explore other cultures and the struggles they may have endured doing the things that children do every day. It gives them a chance to identify themselves in the same situation.

This makes a nice gift for a pre-teen who loves the American Girl books. This set is not part of the main 6 books that goes with each American Girl. They are extra outside the original books and are smaller in size and shorter stories. My daughter loves them and we have purchased all of the sets. I think there are 3 sets with 6 books to each set. They also teach history while telling an inetersting story. They are lovely hardback books with color pictures and will be a treasured collection.

I bought this set for my 9 year old daughter's birthday. They are beautifully hard bound and come in a decorative little slip case. The pictures are beautiful and the stories are artfully written and just long enough to keep her attention. The stories are historically accurate and informative and provide a history lesson as well as being entertaining for my daughter. They make a fantastic addition to any little girl's library! I wholeheartedly recommend this item.
