American Girl - 3 Pack (DVD, 2008)

We bought this set as a gift for our daughters but the movies have turned out to be something that the whole family can enjoy watching together! They really help to bring history to life for kids--of all ages!!

I really like the movies and my granddaughter also thought they were great. It is very hard to find "age appropriate" movies for children between the ages of 8 - 12. These movies clearly demonstrate respect, family, strong moral character, and friendship; very strong values. Some would even call them "old fashion". They are set in a time when these things were important. This series sparked a lot of conversation between my granddaughter and I about the "old days". That really impressed me about these movies and I hope they continue to make these series.

I got these movies for my 7 year old Granddaughter. She LOVES them!!!! Excellent movies, wholesome, great role model, the characters show high morals and standards!!! I would recommend these movies to anyone!!!!

Every detail of the time in History was accurate, so not only were we watching a movie we were also learning how people traveled, lived, wore clothing, hair etc. It was great fun to discuss with a 7 year old our American Heritage and with the three movies we were able to learn about 3 different periods from the past!! Keep American Girl Movies coming!!!

This series is wholesome, something we need a lot more of in our world today. I bought these for my 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas ... and we have enjoyed watching them together .... such special times!

My daughter loves American Girl dolls, and after watching "Kit Kittridge" in the theaters, I knew she'd love these movies. These are great stories for young girls.

I love these movies, because they teach my little girls many good things about life in general. It has many good teachings in it and it is also very intertaining. My little girls love the movies and i bought them becuase that's what they wanted for christmas and they just love it. On ebay you get so many great deals for amazing things, which you could not find in the store, and this was one of those amazing things.

The movies are great! My daughters who are 6 and 9 watch them over and over. We love the historical value. Thanks

These are wonderful movies for young girls to watch. They are fun to watch and contain a great deal of historically accurate information. The main characters set examples for our daughters and reinforce good values. I highly recommend the American Girl DVD's (of course, the books are wonderful as well!)

These are great family movies. I rated them a five based on their genre. You're not going to find amazing, oscar worthy performances or anything, but for families, they make an excellent choice for entertainment. I like how my children can learn values from watching these films, about kindness, love, showing mercy to those who aren't always nice, etc. My children also get to learn about history and what it was like to be a girl in these different time periods within American History. A+++ American Girl!

I like that it was easy to purchase and alot cheeper and off the American Girl web site. Me and the girls enjoyed watching the movies about the American Girl dolls. The movies actually where educational to the era of the doll.

All three of these movies has a moral to be taught, and a lesson to be learned. Something sadly lacking in movies today. These are refreshing family films, although more directed at female audiences, the whole family can enjoy them. I liked getting a picture of what life was like during the different time periods depicted in each movie. Thanks American Girl!
