Wanted reference source for the various motifs found in American Brilliant Period glass, details on what to look for, problems might encounter, ways to identify marked pieces, and detailed photographs of actual pieces. This book has 220 detailed group photos of various pieces, ways to identify difference between individual pieces i.e. difference between butter dome&plate vs Cheese dome and plate, and clear easily read type. Provides a lot of detailed information about the glass in general, collecting, idenifying old vs. new, determining value, and caring for old glass I haven't discovered any obvious flaws, if any. It's a fairly compact size 11 1/2 X 8 1/2 183 pages, makes it easy to read and transport.
