Amcor AM-12 Air Purifier

AM-12 has electrostatic filter so you never have to buy expensive filters which cost more than air purifiers. I also like this unit because it has built-in night light and does not take much space since it plug right on the wall outlet.

For 15 dollars and free shipping, this air purifier is pretty good. It is very quiet and never needs a new filter, as the one it has can simply be cleaned instead of replaced. the nightlight is a relaxing blue and works well. problems with this item are that the fan only has one speed, the nightlight may be too bright for certain people and even though it only uses one power socket, it will block both sockets anyway. If your looking for a decent air purifier for under 20 dollars, this one is a pretty safe bet

In my opinion this is a product well worth the money! I have looked into air purifiers in the past and they were too expensive or otherwise prohibitive. I thought I'd give this a try as my husband and I are both bothered by allergies. What a pleasant surprise! After only one night we both woke up with far less congestion. The Amcor is a very well constructed product, is quiet, takes up little space and WORKS. The blue night light is pleasant and can be switched off during the day. I'll be buying a few more for other rooms. I heartily recommend it and give it a "thumbs up". I have discovered no "cons" to the Amcor.

Was not as described by the seller. Unit does not function well, is noisy, and is an eye sore to any room decor. I bought this to put in my daughters room to help reduce allergens that cause her to couch and sneeze at night, hoping that it would give her a good night sleep. I would not recommend this product as it's just another scam to get at your money.

The overall performance of the air purifier is great. It is very quite and the nightlight is not too bright. It is a good size for a room. The price was right on the daily deals for me to try.

Bought it because it was a daily deal and the price looked good enough to give it a shot. This item was described as silent or at least quiet. It started off quiet but after a few days started to buzz. Used it for about a week and then stopped because of the noise. Item is also a LOT larger than expected, covering the entire outlet plate and more.

This was a great bargain! It fits perfectly in my toddler's room. I love that it has a night light! My only concern is that I am never able to turn it off! However, I think it was a great deal!

This is a very convenient product. We have a small bedroom which the air purifier is perfect for. My husband has asthma and this has helped a great deal. With the recent rash of swine flu cases and the pending cold/regular flu season arriving, one needs to thwart a possible contamination by utilizing a product like the Amcor AM-12 purifier. People who have year-around allergies need a device to keep their surroundings free of smoke and other viruses. The unit is reasonably priced, in addition it provides complete mobility. If one is traveling take one with you. I especially like the no hassle filter replacement feature. The small size fits great in a suitcase while your traveling hither and yonder. A device that assists one with clearer, fresher air is a definite must have!

My fiance does not have a vent in his bathroom and in the winter, cracking the window is not an option. So, I was looking for a small air purifier. I saw this on one of Ebay's Daily Deals and decided it wouldn't hurt to save $10 and give it a try. When it arrived, it was bigger than I anticipated, but I did not really check the size when i purchased it, just knew that since it plugged directly into a wall outlet, that it had to be small enough to do it.

I'll start with the pros: It is light weight, quiet and powerful and has an automatic shut-off if the filter is removed and will not run without a filter (however, the only other way to turn it off is to unplug it). It also has a blue night light that is turned on with a switch located on the side, so it lights up the bathroom, but doesn't hurt the eyes at night.

As for the cons: When we first plugged it in, it gave off a sort of burnt plastic smell, which hung around the bathroom for about a day, but then started to go away after a while (but that is common with new products sometimes). Although it is small, it's a little bulky for the outlet. Even when we plug it into the top socket, it still covers the bottom one, making the whole outlet useless. That's a problem for us because there is no other outlet in the bathroom. This little air purifier would be ideal if they included a port so it doesn't completely block the other outlets. Since his bathroom is small, I couldn't say how well it would work for bigger rooms, but I think it's better suited for small spaces.

So, if you don't mind having to pull it off the wall every time you need to plug something in, then it's not a bad air purifier.

I dont even know why i bought this thing. doesnt do anything more than use up energy and blow air like a little kid.

Good product. I haven't noticed a distinct difference, except that it gives off an unusual odor. It's not pungent but it gives off almost an new plastic smell (maybe because it's still new). I do wish that it had a thicker stronger plug (or maybe an extension). Nonetheless a good product.

This is a great unit quit and great nigth light built into air purifier. I would get more of these for each room...

Unit is quite, good for a small room such as a bathroom. Night light is a great added bonus. I have bought another unit like this but it did not have the night light this is much nicer.

It's a good little device. It make a noice and some what is annoying but I do feel that the air is cleaner and its fairly inexpensive.

I have a 1,250 Sq ft condo & I have purchased 3 of these small plug in units.
The quality & quietness is superb! The night lights (w/ switch) is just an added bonus if needed...
Great product.

I received this package in it's original plastic sealed container. It did not work at all. It has both a night light (with an on off switch as opposed to a light sensor) and a fan which is supposed to draw in and collect particles (dust, allergens etc) which attach to a collection plate. This item DID NOT WORK AT ALL. Understanding that this sometimes happens, I called the number of the company which was prominantly listed on the item and found that the number is no longer in service. I certainly understand why now .... In addition, the only option for returning the item is to pay postage and have the item replaced with one exactly like it........ Oh boy!

Guess its my fault for not looking closer, but even though it only uses 1 socket, its in the middle of the device so it covers the whole outlet and I don't have an extra outlet to use just for the air purifier, it is cute and quiet but haven't been able to keep it plugged in long enough at a time to see if its really doing anything always need to use the outlet for something else
