I love Tennessee Ernie Ford. His bass voice and humble presentation is very touching. The rhythms in some of the arrangements are invigorating and delightful. Many are hymns from my childhood memories plus newer ones.

This double CD of gospel songs by Tenn Ernie Ford reminded me of my youth and watching his show with my Mom and Dad. He always ended the show with a gospel
song, contrary to what the big sponsers wanted him to do, but it turned out to be the most popular part of his show.

I owned an LP record of his songs when I was growing up. He would say a short story before each song. I always remembered that and have been looking for that particular CD. This CD has those stories and songs plus others. It is so great. His voice sends me back to more innocent times. Very inspirational - anyone would love this CD. I highly recommend it!
