Amarantine by Enya (CD, Nov-2005, Reprise)

I love to listen to Enya sing. I have this one in my cd player in the car and listen to it as I drive. Enya is my top group to listen to. She is simply great.

If you are an Enya fan this is a must-have CD. Her voice reaches deep inside you and touches your heart and soul. It has songs ranging from dance in your living room (alone), sit and meditate to tapping your toes. Though some of the lyrics are different languages, she provides the lyrics so you can sing along. Absolutely beautiful music.

I really wasnt going to buy her newest cd because I thought I am sure it couldnt get any better and guess what????? It is EXCELLENT and I am so glad I bought it. If you love Enya, dont miss this one. (track # 7 is my favorite)

I am a long time fan of Enya...
While this album wasnt as amazing as some of her former work..it was still wonderfully Enya. Rating on a 1-10 scale I would give it an 8.

all of enyas albums bring peace to me,this one is no exception ,i tried to get this album in stores for almost a year since its release in 2005,thanks to an ebay seller i got a good price on a brand new copy a+ ,its getting increasingly hard to get her cds in the u.s. but well worth the effort.

This Enya CD is very good. It's recorded well and sounds excellent on my Accuphase home stereo. The CD is quiet, tracks well, and has great sonic presence. There are a few songs I wasn't crazy about but, for the most part it was worth every penny. (i paid $14 at a local store) Enya's type of music has often been called New Age. I must disagree with this. Her music crosses a lot of musical "boundries". After buying Amarantine, I purchased 4 different Enya CDs and have been happy with most of Enya's music. Although Enya's music isn't really mainstream, (you won't hear it much on radio play) her gift as a recording artist really shines through.

A good album but not quite up to "memories of Trees" in my opinion. Maybe they will continue to grow on me; I'll find out.

I HAVE A FEW ENYA CD'S. WHEN I SAW THIS I WAS LOOKING FOR ENYA LATAST CD & SAW IT WAS A GOOD DEAL & PRICE. THERE IS NOT A THING I DISLIKE ABOUT ENYA CD. I DO LIKE ENYA. IT SOUND'S REAL GOOD. IF I SEE ANYTHING ELESE BY ENYA. I WILL TAKE A LOOK AT.

I've been an Enya fan since I was a college sophomore.I love her music because she is always genuine on her feeling on her music. I've heard a variety of music before from Celine Dion to Taylor Swift,that even these artists do not have such a genuine talent like Enya. Thank you!

I love Enya----Her creativity in music brings a sense of calm. I listen to her music often, basking in the different instruments used, the harmony of the instruments and singers. If one could eat it, it would be a luscious dessert!

Calming. Soothing. Relaxing. This Enya CD has it in abundance. Tied with "A Day Without Rain" as my favorites.

I love this album because Enya's music creates such an atmosphere of calm. Even in the fast-moving pieces, the flow and instumental choices make for such a smooth and enjoyable experience! I have a lot of Enya's music and this is just a welcome addition to my Enya library. I recommend ALL of her albums, you really cannot go wrong.

Enya music is very relaxing to listen to - we have practically all her CDs and use them in the evening before bed to relax and get to sleep. I decided to buy it because we did not have that particular CD in our collection and I had not seen it in the stores we shop in.

In comparing this CD to the other Enya albums I possess, I have to say this ranks as a lukewarm addition to the collection. The melodies are generally ok, but not as catchy as in previous offerings. The title track is probably the stand out tune in this album, however the other tracks seemed like a tired rerun, with the oft used lush musical arrangements, production, etc., which just didn't do enough to rescue this ho-hum, 'been there, heard that' rendering that this normally great group efforted here.
