The item was advertised as new in box. What I got was a stereo with missing pieces that didn't always work, and the seller withheld information about its. history. The stereo had the BestBuy yellow sticker on it (sold as open box item) and was missing the trim ring, the key, and had a different harness than what normally comes with it. I knew something was fishy but the seller only offered bits and pieces of clues but finally admitted he had tested it and now I know why -- being an open box item, he wasn't sure it would work. The item was misrepresented and is being sent back and my money refunded. On top of that, the seller threatened to retract his offer to refund my money when I confronted him with my findings but I was covered by the 45 day PayPal "misrepresentation" clause. This seller was dishonest about this item.
