Alpine CDA-9856 Car CD/ MP3 Player

Alpine has been my favorite brand when it comes to car electronics. I've owned several head units, including a digital amp in the past, so this brand was my first choice when shopping for a new car cd player. This Alpine CDA 9856 is sleek, easy to operate, AND comes with an iPod connector that runs from the actual deck, to the glove compartment. So you actually control the ipod through the cd player itself, its not an external application. So far, this unit has been amazing! Its also in really great shape for being used, and the seller shipped it out fast as lightning! So much props to the seller, Alpine, and ebay for another seamless transaction. :)

I am like the country bumpkin and this unit's feaures, the frost out on the pumpkins. It was purchased on very short notice after similar units from shady salesfolk here on Ebay slipped me the willy. It sounds crystal clear according to my installer and a used Alpine T220 is powering new rear Boston 6X9s. I have yet to plug my unit into an ipod, though my installer carefully made an opening into an unused dash-hole so it can be used once I buy one a those hifalutin items. My only use is back and forth radio listening or an occasional CD when driving with a partner in a pleasure only vehicle. I honestly can't complain and I'm just glad everything is in and working so well.
