Great CD from yester-year. Not as good as their first release ASIA, but still a strong follow-up. It's a good album for any Asia fans, and definitely reminiscent of good solid classic rock with a touch of 80s hi-tech in the mix. Still the original lineup with Downs, Howe, Palmer, and Whetton producing solid arrangements with great muscianship.

I wanted to buy this CD after previewing a music video on TV from when I was a kid. I really enjoyed the song more than the video "Don't Cry" but all those videos were corny back then. Also, I've always loved this band from years ago and I'm a huge Carl Palmer fan (drummer in Asia). It's great to hear the old lost songs of yesteryear. Thanks a bunch for having the CD available! It would have been a special order in a retail store.

memoriesit was the first rock record that my father bought for me.somehow it got lost but i still remembered the songs on it.bought it more for sentimental and collectors reasons,but i like their music also.

Alpha - Asia (Rock) 1983 album release
) I originally bought ASIA's second studio album released in 1983 on cassette, to listen in my car, and later on I bought the LP album for my home stereo. I've been a huge ASIA fan ever since the British rock group released their studio debut album in 1982. They are a bona fide supergroup, in my honest opinion. Every single band member is a master musician, and the end result is music that simply blows you away!...and now I've been upgrading to CDs for all their work. I highly recommend all of their recordings to music connosseurs!
