Along Came a Spider (DVD, 2001, Sensormatic)

I have read this book which is better than the movie of course but the movie has twists the book does not,they do not have any romance in their relationship like the book,Lezie seems stronger in the movie to me,which is a plus.Overall a great movie to watch.

Leave all your children with the in laws, set the alarm on the house, grab a drink and a ham sub with the napkin wrapped around it so when you jump it doesnt fly all over and get ready for action, and excitment! Excellent flick with a nice diabolical tone that keeps you glued to the end. YA!

I love crime stories like this. I didn't guess who the bad guys were....total surprise. Kiss the Girls is the next one. Same character but even better.

First,I have yet to see a movie with Morgan Freeman in it, that I didn't at least like Morgan Freeman's character.

I like the Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman, I like the format/plot. There was no dull points...started out well and picked up momentum.

A real thriller with an unusual twist ending. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Good family movie with teenagers.

I've been reading some of the comments for this movie, and think that many of you are over-critical. This is a psychological thriller, and plays it's part well. Morgan Freeman is one of my favourite actors, and he plays Detective Alex Cross very well. I enjoyed the movie on a thriller type basis. If you want to be critical about it not living up to the book's legend then fine... cause I'll be the first one to tell you that it's barely anything like the book. "Along Came a Spider" was a wonderful book and the character of Gary Soneji was compared to a spider... if anyone was wondering why the title was called that. I'm not one to bash movies unless they are horrible, and for those of you that think this movie is horrible... thats just your call. This movie is good, its just not the book. *** out of *****

e-Bay in a way that was easy to find.

I liked the price and the author is great! I have not actually seen this movie yet, but I have read James books and love everything he has wrote so far. I also like the actors they picked for this movie.

I bought this movie because it is based on a James Patterson novel I read. I have a nice size collection of books As well as some movies that are based on books. The movie was good.

To me the movie appeard to have been made in the 1970's, even though I still enjoyed it. That being said, I truly enjoy the Alex Cross series of books.

I am an avid fan of James Patterson and read the book so I decided to see the movie. I bought a used copy of the DVD because it was a real bargain and it plays just as good as new. I buy most of my movies used and have never had any problems with them. I enjoyed the movie although was disappointed they removed most of the story content and changed too many characters from the original book. It was basically nothing like the book other than the main character's name.

Morgan Freeman is awesome in this film. You will be on the end of your seat ! Excellent acting, directing, and film work. One of the best !

I am a fan of the author and have collected all of the Alex Cross books. I also like Morgan Freeman. I saw this on TV a few years ago and decided that I owuld like to have it to add to my Cross collection.

This movie keeps you watching from beginning to end. I bought this it to check out a young Mika Boorem.

The movie is great. It is a great who done it. It keeps you in suspense until the end. The outcome was surprising.

If you have ever read James books about Alex Cross, a black det. , this is his first case that is fast paced about a high profile kidnapping that goes wrong. This DVD is about that case. I have read all of the Cross mysteries and love this movie. The star is Morgan Freeman, who is a great actor.

I bought this movie for my husband for a Christmas present. We really like it! We especially enjoy watching Morgan Freeman. This is a must have for anyones movie collection.I would recommend this movie to any and every one person that would listen.

An interesting Morgan Freeman movie, but not his best movie. Three good twists at the end of the movie.

This movie is almost, kinda sorta, maybe a little like the book. The book was a great story, the movie was a great bore. The acting was good, but the story line got butchered.
