Almuedano [Digipak] by Various Artists (CD, Nov-2005, Pneuma Classics Spain)

I found the production of this album very exquisit, an aural masterpiece. I do not speak a lick of Arabic but the pronunciation, vlcal clarity and accoustic environments used very well executed.l The chanters on this disc made the words easy to hear. The pronunciation of each syllable was so clear that I could hear each one, even with the background sounds mixed in. The instrumental pieces were equally exquisite. The prayers were not only well sung but emotionally centered. One coulod feel the mood that each was intented to evoke, even for a non-muslim like me. I am a great fan of ethnic music from around the world and this disc is a great addition to my collection. It is a must hear for not only muslims but anyone who appreciates good sacred music presented in such an aurally stirring manner.
