Almost There was the first cd released by the pop Christian band Mercyme. Released in 1994 it quickly became a hit with the song "I Can Only Imagine" topping the charts for Christian music and also crossing over as huge hit in secular music.The band originally hales from Oklahoma & was founded by lead vocalist Bart Millard. Jim Bryson plays keyboard, while Mike Scheuchzer& Nathan Cochran play guitars. The drummer is Bobby Shaffer. This album sold over 2 million copied in 3 years & also earned an American Music award. Great upbeat pop sound, all with a Christian message. Songs include: I worship You, Here I am, How Great Is Your Love & more! If you enjoy contemporary Christian music this is a must for your collection. On it's way to becoming a classic hit.

This was their crossover cd (their first cd on a major label). Many
people think that this is the best cd ever put out by Mercyme (including
me!!) ..
If you don't have any cd's by them, this would be the one to get first!! It has the song that made them famous, the great song "I Can Only Imagine", as well as the popular "I Worship You" and "Here Am I"

This is a wonderful cd by Mercyme. It has great christian songs that will touch your heart, especially the song "I Can Only Imagine". I think anyone would be happy if they bought this cd, it's the best!!!

A wonderful cd,for anyone who loves christain music.Very touching songs.
The song "I Can Only Imagine" ,is the real reason I wanted this cd.I listen to this song when I am feeling down and my heart and soul is lifted with joy when the song is finished

My sister wanted this CD for her birthday. I felt ebay was the best place to get this CD for her because of price and I have had good luck on ebay as far as the quality of the products and the character of all the sellers that I have dealt with on ebay. Almost There-MercymeI bought it for the song "I can only imagine." This was played at my cousin's funeral, and it touched me deep in my soul. The words were amazing, and they seemed to make all my problems disappear when I heard them, because I was able to put into perspective what is really important in this life. When I listened to the rest of the CD, it was just as comforting and wonderful as the song I had bought it for.
