"Almost Heaven" IS heaven to read, a real keeper

I was so disappointed when Judith McNaught moved into the contemporary thriller genre because she is so much better with historical romance. This book in particular will touch you like no other (well, except for her other earlier historicals). I can honestly say that her books are the ones you CANNOT sell or trade because you must keep them to read over and over again. I laughed and cried my way through this one and never wanted it to end. One of the most touching stories I've ever read. Judith McNaught's novels sit alongside Julia Quinn's books on my shelves: the never-sell, keep-forever, read-repeatedly stories that touch the soul. MORE MUST READS: "Whitney, My Love", "Something Wonderful", "Once and Always", "A Kingdom of Dreams", "Until You". In fact, I now must go read these again because I have reminded myself of how wonderful they are and the feeling they left me with at the end.
