Allosaurus: A Walking with Dinosaurs (DVD, 2005)

Great Video for supplementing my Second Grade Dinosaur Unit. It has a lot of great scientific information that really ties in with what I was teaching in the classroom. It is a worthwhile addition to any educator who will be teaching about dinosaur's lifecycles or the specific dinosaur Allosaurus.

My son is obsessed with dinosaurs. He has had the original Walking With The Dinosaurs for a year. This is a find for us - He will watch only things having to do with dinosaurs and its realistic and educational.

As a person with palentology studies I love anything to do with Dinosaurs. Unfortunately I hate the endings that usually go with them as they never turn out good.(wonder why) But this story was watched by the whole family and we enjoyed it very much and ofcourse with any sad ending cried abit when he dies. It personalized this particular Allosaurus and we actually felt sorry for him. Specially since he died at a young age. I bought it to add to my collection.

My son is a major dino lover. He watches this movie all the time. I wish it was a little longer but very interesting

I relly like the educational value of this dvd. Kids can learn and discuss the story and the dinosaurs.

Having seen this on television I took the eBay opportunity to purchase the DVD for my own use. Having been fascinated by Dinosaurs since kindergarten I engage every chance I have to expand my Dinosaur collection. This comparatively short one hour show brings us the story of a newly hatched Allosaurus and his adventures and mis-adventures in growing from a two or three pound hatchling to a two-ton sub-adult. Drawing from the fossil evidence of an unearthed skeleton this Allosaur, dubbed "Big Al", has his life drawn out for us. The difficult life of the predator is shown to us in vivid recreation and sharp detail on the 'small screen' in this beautifully animated and brilliantly recreated view of life in the Jurassic. I would recommend this DVD to and for anyone who loves Dinosaurs.

I really like the 'Walking with Dinosaurs' series. They are so well thought out, so entertaining, so informative. I gotta tell ya...I'm hooked. Kudos to the BBC for making the series.

I loved the DVD Allosaurus -A Walking with Dinosaurs 2005 It was so real life like and had a lot of good history in it. It was good intertanment and good schooling for my 4 year old grandson . I would most defently tell any one to buy this DVD .New or used i bought it off EBAY used and when i got it looked and worked like new Robin

This is a wonderful DVD..Have all the BBC dinasaurs video sets in DVD. They are great for everyone. Very informative and on a level for all ages.

My son had this in VHS and just about wore it out. The DVD is just what he needed. And the price was great.

THIS WAS AN EDUCATIONAL FORMAT FOR MY FOUR AND FIVE YEAR OLD GRANDSONS THEY ARE VERY INTERESTED IN THIS TYPE OF MOVIE BECAUSE IT EXPLAINS HOW THESE WONDEROUS CREATURES LIVED AND IT WAS VERY REALISTIC. ANY GRANDMOTHER WITH BOYS THIS AGE KNOWS NOT MUCH HOLDS THEIR ATTENTION FOR LONG BUT IT WAS AMAZING THEY NEVER ACTED UP OR GOT ANTSY ON A FLIGHT FROM CHARLOTTE TO EL PASO, TEXAS. BEST INVESTMENT I'VE EVER MADE FOR TWO BOYS WHO WANT TO LEARN ALL THEY CAN ABOUT DINOSAURS. VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE QUALITY AND NARRATING THAT HAD THEM ON THE EDGE OF THEIR SEATS AND GAVE US A QUIET PEACEFUL FLIGHT.

My son daily going to the mail box hoping for his Allosaurus DVD and repeately being disappointed. How can a seller not follow through with a simple thing such as a DVD unless he never had it in stock. You would think that 6 weeks would have been plenty of time to receive DVD. Broken promises should apply to kids especially coming from his parents. This seller has no concern or conscience when it comes to his customers!!!!!!!!!

This movie is great for my son who is a dino fanatic. The story line and theories are interesting. The only thing I was unhappy with was the length of the film in comparison to other bbc videos, it's only 60 minutes.

I bought this for my 7 year old son. He loves this movie and has probably watched it a half dozen times in the month we've had it.

this company that is selling these dvd was excellent. I bought the dvd because my son loves dinosour and ai have seen the telivision show before. When i order the dvd was out of stock , the company was very nice and offer a full refund if i wanted it. they stated that it would take up to two week to get in to stock at the most. But it was only week and it was sent to me. My son enjoys the dvd and I apploud the company and give a excellent rating for the customer service that they gave me. I will go back to get more dvds in the future.

Movie mixes Fact with some conjecture on what the life of a dinosaur was. Loved this one, but loved the Walking with Dinosaur original even better. Been in love with Dinosaur's since I was 5 Years old. Great story for old and young alike.
