This classic is released by Warner Brothers in honor of Duke's 100th birthday on May 26th, 2007. John Wayne and Claire Trevor, stars of Stagecoach, are together again as 18th century adventurer James Smith and his fiery girl Janie. Smith clashes with a British military commander in order to stop the sale of guns to the Indians. This action adventure is set against the backdrop of colonial America. It is great fun to see the young Duke, just as he was becoming a major Hollywood star, on his way to becoming an American legend. Original Theatrical Release 1939. Steven Holt, Movie Magic USA
